Brendan Gallagher caught up with Madison Genesis Team Manager last week, to look ahead to 2014 and to discuss the change of moving from riding to team management last season.
Since starting in 2009, over 15,000 cyclists have taken on the challenge of a Tour Ride and ridden in the wheel tracks of the professionals from The Tour of Britain.
Tour Rides have taken place in London, Wales, East Anglia, the South West, Scotland and the Midlands in the past five years. In 2013 amateur cyclists have the choice of two Tour Rides - one in Stoke-on-Trent and one in Scotland.
|The Tour Ride Stoke-on-Trent has been a staple of The Tour Ride programme since 2009, with the circular routes in the heart of England proving popular with amateur cyclists from all around the UK. This year Pro and Challenge Rides will start and finish from a new and improved location within the Trentham Estate, with routes that will reflect the best of The Tour of Britain's previous Stoke-on-Trent Stages, including Gun Hill in the Staffordshire Moorlands.

|Play your part in Scotland's Grand Depart weekend by taking on the challenge of a Stage One route from Peebles to Drumlanrig Castle a day ahead of the world's top cyclists. The Pro Ride will give you the chance to take on a 100-mile route through the Scottish Borders and Dumfries & Galloway, while a shorter Challenge Ride will start and finish in the beautiful surrounds of Drumlanrig Castle.
